Amazing Reptiles: Through millions of years of adaptation, the reptiles that occupy our planet today are excellent survivors. In this program we start with the basics, learning just what animals are reptiles and why we classify them that way.

We then apply this understanding to how reptiles are adapted to live in the variety of habitats that they occupy. The audience will discover why crocodilians survived the mass extinction that killed the dinosaurs and how snakes get along with out any arms or legs. In this program we attempt to turn fear and misunderstanding of the scaly and slithery into appreciation and respect.
